Stephanie Joerke began her massage practice in Pahoa town in 2003. Her yearning to live simple, warm and close with nature brought her from Germany to the Big Island, where she has made her home in 1999.
Stephanie loves to integrate different modalities to meet individual needs, especially combining hawaiian lomilomi and hot stone massage with deep tissue work. She also has experience in working with chiropractors and physical therapists on pain managemnet and injury rehabilitation, doing massage as a volunteer therapist at hospice and working with pre and post natal massage. Her personal practice of gardening, martial arts and Yoga are grounding and balancing to her work. She enjoys creating a quiet and relaxing atmosphere where body, mind and soul can unfold.
